CRTIC-Chat
CRTIC-Chat: a project by Alexander Frings (2026), in the Applied AI family.
CRTIC's own conversational assistant built on nanochat, Andrej Karpathy's small open language model. It is fine-tuned on a synthetic dataset that represents the centre's identity (culture, tone, colours) and the interface was rebuilt to the technocreative standard. In development; the main lesson was about scale: a small model memorises a personality before it understands it.
